Static Intercept is the most versatile and widely used form of Intercept Technology, combining corrosion protection with permanent electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. This innovative material works by reacting with and permanently neutralizing corrosive gases, both inside and outside the containment, providing protection for 3-15 years depending on material style, gauge, and environmental conditions.

One of Static Intercept's key features is its oil-free and volatile-free composition, making it safe for use with a wide range of materials and suitable for clean room environments. The material is environmentally friendly, being fully recyclable and biodegradable in landfills. Static Intercept offers protection against corrosion, fungus, and bacteria while maintaining a low carbon footprint due to its reusability.

Static Intercept provides permanent anti-static properties, with a surface resistivity range of 10^6 to 10^9 Ω/sq, customizable to 10^4 to 10^11 Ω/sq. It has a low turn-on potential of 0.7 volts, making it ideal for Class 0 devices, and maintains its electrical characteristics regardless of temperature and humidity. The material's effectiveness has been proven through rigorous testing, including a 24-hour water shower test.
